As part of their mission to promote engineering excellence, the Council of Milano Engineers and the ASTM Academy will host a lecture devoted to the global experience in infrastructure development. The event will bring together experts from across ASTM to share insights on designing and building infrastructure that is safe, efficient, resilient, and sustainable.

The lecture will showcase how innovation, technical know-how, and international collaboration can be used to deliver major projects around the world—from highways and bridges to tunnels and mobility networks.

Participants will explore future-oriented strategies for resilience, environmental impact reduction, and the use of smart technologies throughout the infrastructure lifecycle.

Through real-world examples and forward-looking discussion, the event will highlight ASTM’s commitment to shaping infrastructure that connects people, drives economic growth, and supports a sustainable future. Academy of the ASTM Group

The ASTM Group Advanced Training School for Engineering aims to offer young professionals a program to acquire advanced skills and knowledge in the fields of design, construction, management, sustainability and ecological transition of large infrastructures.

The ASTM school aims to offer multidisciplinary training, aimed at developing those transversal skills that are essential for those work groups that must manage large infrastructures safely and with administrative diligence, also promoting that ecological transition that is becoming increasingly current and indispensable. Thanks to multidisciplinary training, professionals can improve their ability to operate in an increasingly competitive and global world.

The training project was designed by the heads of production functions, in collaboration with the Scientific Directorate, and seeks to address a broad spectrum of topics of certain importance for the professionals of the ASTM group.
