I’d like to have a safe and comfortable journey!

BE INFORMED WHEN YOU TRAVEL

WE 4 YOU
ASTM-SIAS Motorway Operators employ many means and resources to make your journey safe and comfortable and undertake to spread information concerning the motorway stretches falling within their own competence through all means of communication. These user services are made available thanks to the participation of themselves to European programs. One of them is EasyWay, a program co-funded by the European Commission (DG Move), aimed at improving traffic information systems for users through the implementation of intelligent transportation systems.
The Motorway Operators ensure active surveillance throughout motorways from a dedicated traffic control centre open 24/7, especially during the summer exodus for holidays.
Patrols from both the Road Police and Motorway Operator are on non-stop duty on the road to keep an eye on traffic through videocameras and radars.
The Ministry of Infrastructures and Transports, the Road Police and Motorway Operators provides you with the latest information available in real time through dedicated radio channels, traffic lights and variable message signs. Thus, access our information in order not to make our efforts unnecessary and to guarantee yourself the best possible trip.

When?
Before and during a journey
What?
Before leaving, get information on traffic forecasts through the operator's websites of the area you are going to go. You can find links to these sites also on www.autostradafacendo.it or on the Aiscat site (www.aiscat.it). Traffic information is also available on the CCISS site "viaggiare informati" (www.cciss.it) or on the RAI web site (www.traffico.rai.it).
In addition, get the references to the operator's call centers on the Aiscat site so as to be able to contact them during the journey in case of need. Address also to 1518 service, the number of public utility active 24/7 and providing information on the national traffic conditions.
During your journey, if your passengers have no way to use an internet connection, tune on the radio channels broadcasting information on traffic, which you can also find on the variable message signs on the motorway.

Why?
To avoid unforeseen events and make your travel conditions and those of the others safer and more comfortable.
