ASTM-SIAS Motorway Operators designed high-performance safety barriers intended both to mitigate the impact of heavy-goods vehicles and be flexible enough against light vehicles, so to redirect swerving vehicles towards the carriageway. However, in lack of your contribution our effort is wasted: in the event of collision, any unduly secured cargo is immediately projected inside the vehicle or out of it, which is extremely dangerous for you and the others. Don't be mislead by its weight: a heavy cargo is difficult to move when it is still, but it moves very easily when in motion! Indeed, it is even more difficult to keep it still: it may hit you, or shift loose and uncontrolled.
When?
Whenever you carry a cargo inside or outside your vehicle.
What?

Why?
In the event of collision, any unduly secured cargo shifts by inertia, thereby hitting violently against anything on its own trajectory. In ordinary conditions, it either falls on the carriageway or hits other vehicles, thereby causing accidents, or it might upset the balance of the latter when not projected outside the vehicle. There are even cases in which heavy-goods vehicles overturned or crashed against other vehicles. Any cargo scattered on the carriageway becomes in its turn a potential risk for the drivers travelling towards that location and for the operators engaged in its removal. The loss of cargo by a heavy truck usually results in the closing of the carriageway, which provokes serious traffic jams.
