FREEDOM? WE LOVE IT! BUT FOR WHOM?

KEEP YOUR DOG LEASHED, PLEASE.

WE 4 YOU
The traffic flow on ASTM-SIAS motorways is secured by thousands of kilometers of fences along its borders to prevent stray animals from entering it. The maintenance service of SIAS motorways per- manently works to keep fences as intact and effi- cient as possible. During long car trips, remember to care for the needs of any passenger or animal travelling with you. The service stations scattered along the motorway network include pedestrian areas, green areas or flowerbeds where you can walk your dog. However, for the safety of your dog... and of all the people travelling on the mo- torway, dogs must be kept on the leash so that they will not run away towards the road due to an unfamiliar environment or unusual event.

When?
Every time your dog gets out of the car.
What?
Keep your dog on the leash when close to a road driven through by vehicles.
Why?
Because complying with simple rules of common sense can prevent irreparable disasters: your dog might be run over by a car and cause a serious accident. Unleashing your dog is not re- spectful. In addition, it puts not only your life on the risk but also the life of people travelling along the road. A careless action might have fatal consequences. Your (leashed) dog is free to walk in the green areas of service stations or in the parking zones. This is freedom for all, with mutual respect.
