St TACHOGRAPH PROTECTS YOU

WE 4 YOU
When you drive, you'd better be "off alone than in bad company". Remember: when "weariness" is your travel mate, then you're in very bad company. In addition, hauliers bear the great responsibility deriving from their technical preparation and the masses at stake.

When?
When driving commercial and industrial vehicles.
What?
The tachograph must necessarily be installed on vehicles intended for the transportation of goods with a gross weight exceeding 3.5 tons (trucks, lorries, articulated vehicles) or for the transportation of more than 9 passengers including the driver (buses, articulated buses). The tachograph is intended to show and record the data concerning all trips of this type of vehicles and the drivers' working time
Why?
The use of the tachograph allows to control driving and rest times of the driver, as well as to improve the drivers' working conditions and, consequently, road safety. Moreover, it ensures a fairer competition between transport companies.

A driver driving heavy-goods vehicles without complying with working hours and rest periods provided for by the regulation is a serious risk for his own life and the life of the other road users. The tachograph is not a limit but an opportunity to protect you and the others.
